Getting ready for winter

Miten ihmeessä jokin näin kaunis…

…voi muuttua näin kamalan kirjavaksi? Pidän väreistä edelleen, mutta yhdessä ne näyttävät jotenkin liian räikeiltä. Aion silti kutoa sukat loppuun, sillä tämä lanka on aivan ihanan pehmeää! Jatkossa täytyy vain pitäytyä rauhallisemmissa sävyissä.

…turn into something this kaleidoscopic? I still like the colours, but I don't like how they look together. I'm going to knit knit the socks anyway, because this yarn is *so* soft. I love Lorna's Laces! I just need to stick to more solid colours for now on.

Ain't this the most exiting thing you've ever seen? I needed something to soothe my eyes after knitting the Lorna socks.



Tälläinen siitä tulee, Cherry Scarf Jaegerin lehdestä nro JB29 (neuleita vauvoille ja lapsille). Ja tuota… ihan itselleni olen sitä tekemässä. Luulen, että se näyttää oikein somalta mustan talvitakkini kanssa.
