Just in time!

Baby Socks
Pattern: Interveawe Knits, summer 2005 / Ann Budd
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock, Watercolour
Needles: 2,5 mm

Lollyn Socktoberfestin innoittamana (ja kirittämänä, knit-a-long päättyy huomenna) kudoin pikkuiset vauvasukkani valmiiksi. Ei minusta vieläkään tullut sukankutojaa, mutta jonkinlaista edistystä on sentään tapahtunut. Vaikka toinen sukka on vähän pienempi kuin toinen, se on myös vähän tasaisempi, ja elämäni toisessa tiimalasikantapäässa olevat reiät ovat pikkuisen pienempiä kuin siinä ensimmäisessä! :-D Olen tyytyväinen. Socktoberfestiin osallistuminen oli hauskaa! Kiitokset Lollylle mukavasta knit-a-longista!

Thanks to Lolly, I managed to finish the baby socks. And just in time too, because Socktoberfest ends tomorrow! I can't really say that I enjoyed knitting these little socks. It's all so fiddly! However, I did improve: the second sock is much more even than the first one (and a bit smaller too, but I hope it's not so noticeable). These socks also feature my very first short-row heels, not very glamorously I'm afraid. There are holes – but again, the second sock has smaller holes than the first one. I'm happy enough. Taking part to this sockfest was really fun! Thank you, Lolly, for arranging such a lovely knit-a-long!
