Helleborus

(Helleborus niger / Christmas Rose, my favourite Christmas flower)

Finished size: Stupid me did not measure the scarf before giving it away – I think the finished scarf was about 30 cm wide and long enough to wrap twice around your neck.
Yarn: SandnesGarn Kitten Mohair (30 % mohair, 20 % wool, 50 % courtelle; 50 g = 165 m), 2 balls
Needles: 5,5 mm
Gauge: I've got absolutely no idea. But hey, this is a scarf so it doesn't really matter, right? (I know, I'm not very good at this pattern writing business.)

Luo 50 silmukkaa. (Silmukkaluku on jaollinen neljällä + 2, eli jos haluat leveämmän/kapeamman huivin, lisää/vähennä aina neljä silmukkaa kerrallaan.) Neulo rivit 1–2, ja toista sitten rivejä 3–10, loputtomasti. Tiedoksenne, että mallineule on helppo, mutta auttamattoman tylsä. Neulo lopuksi vielä rivit 1-2, ja päätä silmukat. Pingota, jos siltä tuntuu. (Minä en pingottanut.)

Cast on 50 stitches. (The pattern is multiple of 4 stitches + 2, so if you want a wider/narrower scarf, just add/subtract 4 stitches.) Work rows 1–2, then repeate rows 3–10 until you drop dead. This is a boring knit, and you've now been warned. Work rows 1–2 once more, then bind off all stitches. Weave in loose ends. Block lightly, if you feel like it. (I didn't.)
