Ihana Ene on ehkä kauneinta mitä olen koskaan kutonut. Kutominen oli myös mukavaa, vaikka olen kyllä kuullut muunkinlaisia mielipiteitä tästä huivista. Mutta tylsyys ei ole koskaan haitannut minua, päinvastoin. Hyvä niin – äiti ilmaisi haluavansa samanlaisen huivin talveksi.

Oh yes, she's beautiful, maybe the most beautiful thing I've ever knitted. I enjoyed knitting her too, although I've heard several people calling her boring, tedious even. I don't mind boring, and that's a very good thing – my mother wants an Ene too.



Tänään ei irtoa enempää tekstiä. Olen vähän äreä, on aivan liian kuuma, eikä Rowanin uusi lehti tullut tänäänkään. Mur. Kaikesta tästä huolimatta: paljon kiitoksia kaikille teille ihanille ihmisille, jotka kommentoitte mökkitilkkupeittoani! Kyllä täällä leijuttiin pari päivää… :-D Aikeissa on väsätä pieni kuvasarja aiheesta "Kuinka kursia kokoon tilkkupeitto ihan väärin pistoin", sitä muutamat kyselivät. Mutta ei tänään. Tänään keskityn syömään jäätelöä.

I'm out of words today. Feeling a bit crumpy, the weather is way too hot for me (and still no Rowan magazine in the mail, this waiting is killing me!). Still, I want to say thank you for all of you lovely people who commented my Log Cabin Blanket! Your kind words really mean worlds to me! A few of you also wanted to know how I sewed the squares together, and I'm planning on taking some photos to show you my very unorthodox sewing method. But not today. All I can think of now is ice cream.
