My green ocean

Clapotis

Clapotis
Pattern source: Knitty fall 04 / Kate Gilbert
Yarn: Sundara Yarn Aran Silky Merino
Needles: 5 mm

Clapotiksesta on vaikea keksiä mitään ainutlaatuista sanottavaa.

What can you say about Clapotis that hasn't been said already? All I know is that I love mine, although I might have killed it while blocking. The little waves are gone; my Clapotis is dead calm. But I like it this way, it's more unassuming somehow, and I think it suits me better like that. The pattern is simply genious and the yarn is soft and luxurious – no wonder I now have a perfect scarf!

Upea Clapo! Lankakin vaikuttaa ihanalta, vaikka hipelöimään ei pääsekään...

very very lovely- the color is fantastic! I just finished one myself (a picture is on my blog), and I was wondering if I should block it at all. Either way, it's wonderful.

Mä en alkuun innostunut tästä huivista lainkaan mutta nyt syksyn tultua haluisin just tuollaisen lämmittämään :))

It's beautiful -- the knitting and the colour. I quite like it blocked, too. (I've been wondering how that would look, and now I know!)
